Escape 4 is a C-type print by fashion photographers, French Cowboy. This collection was shot in Miami. It’s part of a further series entitled A NEW DAWN, A NEW DAY, A NEW LIFE.
French Cowboy is a Mia Macfarlane and Julien Crouigneau creation, formed out of the pair’s love for photography. The artist couple have a strong desire to create photographs enriched by storytelling, iconic visuals, and strong artistic direction.
They have exhibited their photography work internationally. For instance; in London, New York, Paris, Megeve, Saint Tropez, and Norway. In addition to this, the creative pair have had exhibition reviews in numerous acclaimed magazines. Including Vogue, Madame Figaro, Huffington Post and more.
Mia and Julien (under their pseudonym French Cowboy) were guest artists and speakers at the Nordic Light Photography Festival. Furthermore, they were expert portfolio reviewers at Arles Voie Off (a festival that offers an alternative program of exhibitions, portfolio reviews, professional panel discussions). They’ve been further published in leading photographic reference book “The Fashion Image”. This publication includes works by internationally-acclaimed photographers such as; Mario Sorrenti, Inez and Vinoodh, Bruce Weber and Richard Avedon. They produce at least one shoot per issue for IRK Magazine (an Independent Paris Based Art, Photography and Fashion Printed Magazine and Digital Platform). However, they also shoot “stories” regularly for other magazines.
Most recently, a selection of their photographs were exhibited with Runway Gallery for our London Fashion Week takeover for Fashion Scout at Victoria House, London.
One half of French Cowboy, Julien Crouigneau, says:
French Cowboy is born from meeting Mia and our desire to create our own images enriched from our multiple experiences and cultures.
