Coke Shot was originally created as part of a fashion shot for fashion designer Sola Sobo.. Throughout the 90’s, David was working with stylist/art director and now artist SYRETT. Together they created what has been described as on of the seminal shots of the era.
Shot in SYRETT’s then studio in Liverpool. The image reflects the highly fashionable and hedonistic times of that period. A time where dance music was music of choice and ecstasy and cocaine were the drugs of choice.
Coke Shot was part of a collection of images that were to be used in Selfridges but they were banned. The picture was not seen again until a charity Terence Higgins Trust event where it was the first piece to be sold.
This is the first time Coke Shot has been offered as limited edition print.
