After spending years (and pieces of his soul) creating for others in London. Doyle decided he wanted to produce the work he wanted to see in the world. Sometimes challenging but often beautiful, he wanted to oppose the depressing narrative and suggest hopeful alternatives to the status quo.
Artist statement:
When people ask me what kind of artist I am I usually say political as, more often than not, I’m responding to the oppressive machinery of collectivism, authoritarianism and control as it grinds us up in its gears. I’m trying to remind folk we can simply stop applying the grease. That we can live individual, beautiful and truly meaningful lives.
